UPDATED 10/05 - THIS IS A DIFFICULT BUILD. Creating the best midgame & lategame M1 dueler. We have insane damage & tempo for midgame and great farm speed for new haunts. Late game we shred with Smoke T3 sustain and LS / Rico damage. This build is fully annotated! Give them a read for insight on timing and use cases.

Extra Spirit
Rapid Rounds

2Early game
Game stage · 5 items · T1 Bullet Dance to confirm lane
Active Reload
Our core reload tool. Use this constantly for shredding waves & camps. In engages, use Active Reload while they're slept.
Swift Striker
Built from Rapid Rounds
Titanic Magazine
Built from Extended Magazine
God this feels so troll but 3 Stack Fixation headshots MASSIVELY reward sustained fire as early as possible, this is also an absurd wave clear / jungle item. We sell it for Lucky Shot later.
3Lane Techoptional

Healing Rite
ONLY BUY IN MIDLANE, Sidelanes should run Healing Snack routes.
Rebuttal
Buy into Viscous / Billy if needed
Reactive Barrier
Bought into Bebop & Vindicta primarily, you can skip Healing Booster if you're slot crammed.
4Core Build
Author's category · 8 items · Sell Order: Extra Spirit → Titanic → Active Reload | Sell Healing Booster for better Vital
Slowing Hex
Core ganking tool, I open with this out of smoke most times. Into heroes like Infernus or Mina especially, you need to apply this before they can escape.
Burst Fire
Built from Rapid Rounds
We should always be sliding on Haze to extend our ammo (even with Titanic!)
Extra Charge
5Prio Vital Tech
Author's category · 4 items · Mid & Late Game | Annotations
Counterspell
I get this whenever I'm into serious Ult / Silencing CC and/or Curse. Anti-Pocket, Warden, Wraith, Drifter, Vyper & Lash item (Of course, you SHOULD Sleep the Lash, please do that)
Spirit Resilience
Fury Trance does a great job bulking us against Spirit, which is always our biggest problem, but I sometimes need even more resist. If they have majority spirit damage, get this.
6Late Tech
Author's category · 6 items · Annotations
Armor Piercer
NOW ACTUALLY COUNTERS PLATED ARMOR - Bullet Resist stacking is very easy for enemies to do, this cuts through.
Silencer
Incredibly strong for teamfights. Comm to your team when enemies are silenced at key times.
Toxic Bullets
If you need DoT % damage and Anti-Heal, this is a great item. Not core.
7Late Damage
Author's category · 4 items
Spellslinger
IMPORTANT: To be considered "in-combat" you need to have recently dealt or received damage. get in-combat before dumping cooldowns (which includes Active items)! This item kicks ass.
Crippling Headshot
Easy Shred & Anti-Heal for late game.
Capacitor
Our best Slowing Hex replacement for the hyper late game.
8Late Sustain
Author's category · 6 items · Read Annotations!
Siphon Bullets
First half of the Siphon Tempo combo, getting Healing Tempo soon after is reliable but not necessary.
Healing Tempo
Built from Healing Booster
2nd Half of Siphon Tempo Combo, Continues to give us enhanced Lifesteal on Smoke T3. GET AFTER SIPHON.
Plated Armor
If their team is carried by MASSIVE gun damage this is our best tool for survival.

Author's category · 0 items · This build has a high skill floor and an even higher skill ceiling, especially for Haze, and piloting it well will give you more success than anything else you can find in the browser. There are 3 pillars of the learning curve for this: Fury Trance, Blood Tribute, & Smoke T3. Fury Trance is a very powerful active if you setup ganks for being silenced. Baiting out abilities & stamina early lets you sleep & shred them with Trance. Blood Tribute's health drain isn't a problem as long as you're dealing real damage, which it itself enables, and the debuff resist / movespeed gives you a lot of spacing control. Tribute in ganks is simple, but in teamfights I am intentionally looking for close-range openings and committing when it's good. The 60% Lifesteal & Dispel on a 5s cooldown from Smoke T3 is the crux of our lategame fight potential, and being SUPER intentional about when you use it is the difference maker for your teamfight success. A good rule of thumb is that when you're dealing lots of damage & taking lots of damage, pop Smoke T3. Any massive CC on you that you can't safely tank: pop Smoke T3, and see if you can't turn the engagement. If you get these down you'll actually be unstoppable. If you have any questions or feedback please ping me in #haze or in my build guide in the guides section of the server.

Fury Trance
Grants Fleetfoot passive for better chase, apply Dagger / Hex before activating. When Rapid Recharge is online and fights rely on T3 Smoke, be cautious about your Trance activation timing.
Healing Booster
Built from Extra Regen
Great synergy with Active Reload / Trance / Smoke T3, also free 4.8k Vital spike item. Goated
Sell Extra Spirit for this if absolutely slot crammed
Blood Tribute
Blood Tribute becomes our default when dueling instead of Fury Trance, and I give my Trance activation more thought from this point forward. Tribute is great for farming & insane anticc / damage.
Rapid Recharge
Built from Extra Charge
50% Lifesteal (60% with Booster) for 5s & a free Dispel. Try to reserve charges for big fights, don't waste them by rotating aimlessly.
Hollow Point
This deals near Lucky Shot damage for half the price, letting us get Ricochet earlier.
Ricochet
Ricochet paired with T3 Smoke & FT gets us so much damage and thus lifesteal that we are totally thanos. If you've not done it already, buy T3 / T4 Vital after this (Unstoppable is best)
Lucky Shot
Holy damage, it's wise to buy a T3 or T4 Vital item before Ricochet if you need it.
Unstoppable
Necessary if you get carry level impact, teams hate Haze and will throw everything at you
Inhibitor
Silencer is also a great option into Spirit heavy comps but Inhibitor is highly reliable & good bulk
Cursed Relic
Ethereal Shift
Ethereal Shift has the edge over Unstoppable if you're worried about massive burst damage more than CC.
Cheat Death
Fixation ignores Damage Reduction, this can be absurdly clutch if you dying means the end of the game
Frenzy
Dip below half to trigger, burn a Smoke T3 for a full cleanse and 50% lifesteal to heal up and keep the 55% fire rate. Pushes our damage to an unbelievable level.
Indomitable
Built from Reactive Barrier
Counterspell is better but if it's Bebop hooks coming at you then this is good.
Spellbreaker
This is the strongest Anti-Spirit option. I'll pair this With Spirit Resilience or Counterspell.
Metal Skin
Can be good into Drifter or Venator if they're jumping on top of you.
