Use your Deadeye ability. What do you mean this is not RDR? I'm supposed to aim? Without auto aim or time slow? Click their heads. Maximize Crackshot as much as possible. Hit your headshots and you can do major damage.
1Early game
Game stage · 10 items · Buy Left to Right. Wolf ate our brains out. Sell Restorative Shot first, then if you must, choose between Battle Vest or Recharging Rush.
Headshot Booster
Hit your headshots! A boosted crackshot at the start of the game does 100 damage from any range.
Restorative Shot
Essential for early sustain
Extra Stamina
With bounce pad to escape/maneuver, this will probably be enough Stamina.
2Mid game
Game stage · 5 items · This is the point where your Deadeye highlights their vitals.
Weighted Shots
Huge damage boost. Movement slow lets you hit more headshots on mobile characters and synergizes with Crackshot. Negatives outweighed by Holliday's high base move speed and bounce pad.
Ricochet
CRITICAL BUY. Headshots with this proc level 3 Crackshot. If winning, win harder. If losing, hurt everyone in the deathball and/or break minion armies attacking your base.
3Late game
Game stage · 4 items · Prioritize Armor Piercing if Metal Skin makes you suicidal.
Inhibitor
Lots of damage, extra health mitigates Glass Cannon reduction. Reducing their damage helps your whole team. Also serves as a good "fuck you" to Abrams, Victor, Rem, etc
Vampiric Burst
Turn Doc's gun into an autopistol. With this much damage, by now you can outheal and destroy some characters. By the time you get this, you can kill some with just bodyshots!
4Very Late Gameoptional
Author's category · 3 items · Try not to let them bully you.
Silencer
Some characters really deserve to be silenced. First temporarily and then forever.
Crippling Headshot
The debuff you apply with this does not have a cooldown. Hitting headshots can drastically affect teamfights. 12 seconds is a very long time in combat.
Lucky Shot
5Optional But Still Usefuloptional
Author's category · 8 items
Active Reload
Significant boost to pretty much everything you want. greater potential for damage in a shorter timeframe and helps you stay alive.
Trophy Collector
Built from Sprint Boots
Restorative Locket
6Optional Countersoptional
Author's category · 10 items · Low Priority/Counters
Counterspell
Can be quite helpful if you know when to use it.
Rebuttal
Metal Skin
If you're struggling to fight other bullet users, make them hate their life and then end their life.
7Optional Ability Boostsoptional
Author's category · 3 items · Significantly better if you have a coordinated team.
Superior Duration
Extends your Lasso duration enough to work with friendly reaction times. Also makes bounce pads last really long.
Greater Expansion
A longer lasso means you can get more picks. A lot of the time though, you want enemies to stay away. Lasso isn't very good... but its fine if your team is good
Categories appear in the author's order. Only the editor's default Early, Mid and Late sections are marked as game stages; the author's own categories keep their names. “Built from” links come from the game's item recipes.

Sprint Boots
Holliday is fast on her own, but this will help early, and mitigate Weighted Shots and Sharpshooter's negatives later.
Headhunter
Built from Headshot Booster
Essential to the build. Try to coordinate your crackshot and headhunter cooldowns for huge burst damage. With level 2 crackshot and this, you can hit a 200 dmg headshot.
Battle Vest
If you are losing, there's a good chance it's because of spirit dmg and debuffs. In that case, get Enchanters Emblem first. You can sell this over Recharging Rush.
Enchanter's Emblem
Choose between this and Battle Vest. One or both is fine. Battle vest helps you more with damage, this helps you more with survivability.
Enduring Speed
Built from Sprint Boots
Optional but doesn't hurt at all since it's a cheap upgrade. Feel free to skip if you aren't dealing with slows.
Recharging Rush
Lets you get bounce pad significantly more often just for getting a stray headshot.
Kinetic Dash
Built from Extra Stamina
Reloading at the wrong time can bite you in the ass. This serves almost like Active Reload without the opportunity cost. The extra mag size goes right into your mag without reloading.
Sharpshooter
15 meters away is a range that you can easily deal with for a massive, massive damage boost. Hold alt to show a radius of distance around you.
Glass Cannon
Makes you a real force to be reckoned with, partner. With good aim and positioning you can kill heroes and clear lanes by yourself. DO NOT BUY if you're in a bad situation!
Spirit Resilience
Almost always a must buy. Spirit characters can be really damn annoying, but you know what's even more annoying? dying
Armor Piercer
If anyone gets Metal Skin because of you, get this ASAP! Bullet damage is your WHOLE BUILD.
Transcendent Cooldown
You'll never be able to hit every single headshot you need to. This massively increases the amount of crackshots you can have. Spirit Lasso picks too. Less important if you specced into Ricochet.
You could theoretically do several hundred damage with just one boosted crackshot. As one might expect, it's inconsistent.
Juggernaut
Built from Enduring Speed
Makes you so much tankier, has no opportunity cost besides souls, and helps against other bullet heroes.
Fortitude
Live longer = more kills!
Stamina Mastery
Built from Extra Stamina
Sometimes bounce pads aren't enough.
Burst Fire
Don't forget that sliding gives you infinite ammo temporarily. Less useful for precision characters, but helps a lot with attacking unguarded objectives, then running when they try to stop you.
Frenzy
Don't plan for failure, but be ready if you do fail.
Dispel Magic
Disarms can shut you down entirely. Warden's grab may very well kill you without a bounce pad nearby or stamina.
Knockdown
Seven's ult gives him 55% bullet resist and denies an entire area. Make him stop. Counter Vindicta and make her suffer. Mo and Krill are knocked out of the ground to be headshotted.
Unstoppable
Some ults will just straight up kill you without using this beforehand
Warp Stone
More mobility, an escape tool enemies can't jump right after you with. Pull someone where you want more easily with lasso.
Cultist Sacrifice
If you're really behind and need to farm a lot, get this.
Spellbreaker
If you're getting bursted, stunned, slowed, whatever - this helps.
Indomitable
Rapid Recharge
Does your team have great aerial movement? Get more bounce pads!
