NEW, ANNOTATED, AND UPDATED. I may have deleted my last build by accident. Solo carry potential, limited only by your aim, cooldown sequencing, and skill. Stream 5x/week: twitch.tv/wraithcrw Daily Uploads: youtube.com/@PRWLR
1Starteroptional
Author's category · 3 items · Pick One.
Headshot Booster
The best lane pressure item in the game behind Mystic Burst (which we can't even proc early now) and builds into our core Gun item. The default option.
Monster Rounds
Boxing is insanely strong now with the new map, and into lanes with strong clear you want to match them so you have more time to roam, farm, and hit boxes. Sell first.
Restorative Shot
If you play into really risky lanes with lots of poke & burst (Calico, Yamato, Drifter) who snowball a lead - Buy this to stay alive and deny kills. First thing you sell when needed.
2Early game
Game stage · 8 items · L->R.
Sprint Boots
As mentioned earlier, box runs are extremely powerful early and because the map is so big, you need to be able to roam quickly. You'll get this around 3 minutes before your first box run.
Extra Charge
Undisputably a good item for Holliday, builds into our core item.
Extra Spirit
Most cost efficient source of Spirit Power early, good buy.
3Pick One
Author's category · 3 items · Not optional.
Slowing Hex
Second best crowd control in the whole game, disables so many abilities and lets you glue to people. Broken.
Knockdown
If you need to counter fliers, ults, and/or need a STUN specifically over the slow.
Silence Wave
Silences are really strong in a majority of games due to strong abilities. I usually prefer to buy Slowing Hex, but it doesn't catch everything and this ALSO procs Indomitable for cheap. Good buy.
4optional
Author's category · 5 items · extra survivability if we have good damage
Healbane
Really solid antiheal since our barrels don't nearly burst as much and are pretty solidly countered by sustain. Plus, healing on kills is giga win-more.
Enchanter's Emblem
Spirit characters are most problematic for us and this is the best bang for our buck. CDR, Spirit Res, and Regen.
Counterspell
5Mid game
Game stage · 6 items · L->R (mostly).
Headhunter
Built from Headshot Booster
Insanely strong burst damage that scales well into the late game because it uses boons. Compliments your kit extremely well and serves as our #1 source of burst.
Fortitude
Built from Extra Health
Our new roaming item, this allows us to constantly heal up and grants really nice movespeed when boxing, roaming, and elsewise. Can buy later if you bought 1-2 extra greens.
6Late game
Game stage · 6 items · NOT L->R, BUT ARRANGED BY USEFULNESS.
Cursed Relic
Genuinely disgusting at almost no detriment to you now. Best CC option, period, sell your other CC item for it.
Unstoppable
In 3/5 games, the best green you can buy - Period. If you don't buy this, you often buy Cheat Death. Sometimes a Counterspell/Indom will do, but rely on this more.
Spirit Burn
One of the best damage options period, can buy after Tankbuster if you need antiheal.
7optional
Author's category · 5 items · Situational Greens
Spirit Resilience
Unfortunately you can't challenge Calico or other burst assassins you just fall over and die, so you need this.
Plated Armor
An actually really good item now that it properly stops on-hit effects from items.
Indomitable
Built from Reactive Barrier

Rapid Recharge
Built from Extra Charge
More cooldowns and extra damage on your kit is good.
Improved Spirit
Built from Extra Spirit
Most slot & soul efficient buy for us, caps out our Spirit Spike after Rapid Recharge. You'll get 4.8k Spirit Spike here, play aggressive!
Trophy Collector
Built from Sprint Boots
In the core build again because we want to stack movement speed for roams, and builds from Sprint Boots. Good source of souls combined with boxes, we rarely need to hit waves (though its still good).
Recharging Rush
Cooldowns.
Extra Health
Builds into our green spike and this extra bit of HP helps us survive a LOT of bullshit thrown at us. Can skip.
The best green item for Holliday in general, honestly. You tend to get focused, solo ulted, and aped: This is a great tool to survive.
Dispel Magic
Catch almost-all cleanse that also gives us sustain if we need it. If Counterspell doesn't stop it, this does usually.
Reactive Barrier
often times, worse than counterspell/dispel/enchanters but it is still rarely good in some games
Sharpshooter
After testing, this item slots in really nicely to our core DPS just because of the map changes making fights in wider areas more common. Can buy later/skip if you need utility/burst.
Superior Duration
This affects your burns, any disabling effects we have and get, stuns, lassos...Too good to pass up now.
Tankbuster
Most of the value from this item for us comes from late game HP scaling, so we grab Headhunter instead of this earlier.
Boundless Spirit
Built from Improved Spirit
The best increase to our damage period.
Cheat Death
Insanely overtuned especially with Duration. CURSE HARDCOUNTERS CHEAT DEATH. Really good when there's no other solid option to stop everything.
Transcendent Cooldown
Often replaces Recharging Rush. If your games are running long, you want this for map activity - Helps in shorter, more decisive fights over Recharging Rush.
Spirit Rend
The best source of Spirit Shred period. No other way to compete with it.
Point and click CC like Wraith, Mo & Krill, Cursed Relic, Focus Lens, etc. However it's really bad with multiple of those effects, so buy with caution.
Spellbreaker
Sniper Paradox is really annoying and she can legit hard counter you if she's trying to. Also good against bursty-comps like Calico, Yamato, etc.
Divine Barrier
I fucking hate Affliction. And Drifter Ult.
