This is a fully annotated melee build designed to make you into an unkillable 1v1 king. Show Lash why you're the King of the Fighting Pits! Thanks to Watotodile (check out build ID: 355986) in the #bebop channel for the advice! You can also find me there if you have any questions or suggestions. Just @Carrotoid
1Early game
Game stage · 6 items · Left to right, be aggressive once you get T3 Uppercut!
Close Quarters
40% of the value of Point Blank for 25% of the cost
Sprint Boots
Good for box running and regen in lane, feel free to get this first before Close Quarters if you get low
Melee Lifesteal
Buffs your Hook and Uppercut damage
2Mid game
Game stage · 6 items · Left to right, look at Bread & Butter after this category
Point Blank
Built from Close Quarters
Big melee power spike
Fleetfoot
This is your dedicated HMC button!
Unstoppable
Unfortunately in the rank I play in, having a way to secure Midboss consistently is way too valuable. When Midboss isn't up I use this to ignore parries
3Bread & Butteroptional
Author's category · 9 items · The best late game items
Shadow Weave
Built from Sprint Boots
Good for securing late game hooks for the win
Weighted Shots
Stacking debuff resist is very underrated
Capacitor
Not a super big fan, but the active as a follow up to hooks is crazy
4Fun!optional
Author's category · 3 items · Having fun isn't hard
Cheat Death
This one is funny but there are usually better survival items available
Echo Shard
You can put this on Bomb or Uppercut, just depends on how you feel that game! If you go Uppercut I highly recommend Crushing Fists!
Magic Carpet
Just super funny even though I have almost never bought this. Pair with Cheat Death for best results!
5Survival!optional
Author's category · 7 items · Have fun, don't die
Counterspell
Counters most things, who would have thought
Dispel Magic
Not super necessary because T3 bomb will act as a debuff remover so only get this if you need it early game
Metal Skin
Good vs. Haze Ult or Vyper sometimes
6Counters!optional
Author's category · 5 items · Break glass in case of emergency
Slowing Hex
Rush in lane if you need it. I hate Apollo, Mina, Holliday, Calico, and Celeste with a burning passion
Decay
Another good anti heal option
Disarming Hex
This item actually lasts forever it's insane
7Tip #1
Author's category · 0 items · For a general explanation of Bebop, refer to "Bebop? WE BE LEARNIN' HOW TO PLAY" Build ID: 474091
No items listed.
8Tip #2
Author's category · 0 items · When you use Uppercut you can hit a light melee if you move forward after, but beware of parries!
No items listed.
9Tip #3
Author's category · 0 items · Best strategy is to basically walk at them while shooting and throwing out light melees. Avoid highly telegraphed heavy melees unless you are going to bait a parry!
No items listed.
10Tip #4
Author's category · 0 items · Uppercut minions in lane at the enemy! It does really good chip damage, safer than bomb, and the damage literally goes through walls
No items listed.
11Tip #5
Author's category · 0 items · Trigger Walker stomp on purpose, then go up and punch them! You'll have time for four punches at most!
No items listed.
12Tip #6
Author's category · 0 items · To play Punchbop it's necessary to abuse parry baiting. Therefore Heavy Melee Cancels (HMCs) are key. To perform an HMC do a heavy melee and then interrupt it with an item like Fleetfoot. You can either completely interrupt it or you can continue holding melee to go even further. On Bebop, you can HMC with Fleetfoot, Restorative Locket, Fury Trance, Colossus, Unstoppable, and Vampiric Burst
No items listed.
Categories appear in the author's order. Only the editor's default Early, Mid and Late sections are marked as game stages; the author's own categories keep their names. “Built from” links come from the game's item recipes.

Melee Charge
Use this as a movement option to melee around corners
Lifestrike
Built from Melee Lifesteal
You will get this virtually at the same time as Uppercut T3. This item is goated for Bebop specifically. Hits your 4.8k vitality spike!
Trophy Collector
Built from Sprint Boots
Gotta get those stacks, hits your 4.8k vitality spike
Hunter's Aura
Another big melee power spike
Spirit Resilience
Spirit bad
Berserker
Another another big melee power spike and bullet resist
Crippling Headshot
Really easy to proc on Bebop seeing as it's easy to hit a single headshot, helps the rest of the team
Crushing Fists
Built from Melee Charge
Stunning can be a big utility against heroes like Haze or Mo & Krill, and it procs off Hook and Uppercut!
Silencer
Good if the enemy has a spirit carry since the damage reduction procs off a single bullet
Indomitable
Gives you a get out of jail free card for getting parried, but buy Unstoppable instead if you're against Dynamo or the game is looking a little dicey as far as Mid Boss goes
Phantom Strike
Good initiation option and against flyers
Cursed Relic
Curse is just really good on Bebop since you get to shutdown whoever you pull
Divine Barrier
Hard counter to Pocket since it's now the only way to clear Affliction
Plated Armor
M1 Carries beware
Spellbreaker
Buy against Lash, Yamato, Pocket, etc.
Witchmail
More cooldowns never hurt anyone. This is basically how we are transitioning into a more Tankbop style
Knockdown
*bONK*
Silence Wave
Silence Wave is a great item, all around good choice, but consider if you really need it since you may already have Slowing Hex
