1Laning
Author's category · 5 items · T2 Camps Spawn at 5:00. Aim to get Tesla by 6:00. Capacitor is huge powerspike. Dont be afraid to buy HP
Extended Magazine
Good because it helps alleviate Ivy's poor magazine size problem. Gives more long term damage output for wave at the start, which means its a good alternative/supplement to Monster Rounds.
Titanic Magazine
Built from Extended Magazine
Greatly increases your magazine, allowing effortless waveclear, and lets you trade (Not often) sometimes with the enemy in lane with your raw gun. This will make your Tesla Bullets buy WAY better.
Tesla Bullets
Gun Ivy's BEST early/mid game item. Procs easily with ivy's high ROF, grants amazing jungle/camp clear, and allows easy proccage of debuffs. It is INSANE.
2Sustain/Greensoptional
Author's category · 4 items · Don't Be afraid of buying Extra Health!
Extra Health
INSANE item to buy if you want to postpone your 4.8k HP investment spike, to buy more items for farming and powerspikes, without being super squishy and burstable.
Healing Rite
This item has INSANE value, even outside of lane. You will NEVER regret or feel bad buying this item, as it keeps you topped up for HP after camps, and gives sprint speed!
3Lane Extraoptional
Author's category · 1 items
Headshot Booster
Best § 800 item in lane for winning lane and applying pressure. If buying, I reccomend going Extnd. Mag -> Headshot Booster -> Tesla for you 4.8k Gun Spike build order.
4Mid game
Game stage · 5 items · Swift Striker Lines up with T3 tether powerspike, BRS is amazing for camps. High firerate after AR.
Rapid Rounds
Slight damage increase. Powerspike more noticable when you buy swift striker.
Swift Striker
Built from Rapid Rounds
Best § 1600 item for raw unconditional firerate, while giving bonus sprint speed that very useful in the early game. Helps immensely with giving the exact fire rate you need for capacitor w T3 Tether.
5Mid Survivaloptional
Author's category · 4 items · Spirit resil OP. Everything else is situational.
Spirit Resilience
Required every game for the current spirit meta, and works well with creating more EHP (Effective HP) with siphon bullets.
Dispel Magic
Insane counter to Infernus/Mirage on-hit buildups, and generally great for any enemy that is causing a debuff that is causing you to lose or die constantly. (Also good if spirit burned nonstop late.)
6Mid Extraoptional
Author's category · 2 items
Slowing Bullets
Though it doesnt give raw stats, the latest slow change where regular slows also effect air dashing can certainly make this item more desirable. Reccomended if up a walker flex slot.
Burst Fire
Built from Rapid Rounds
This item has significant value in the late game when you have ~+200% wpn dmg and ~+50% firerate, and happen to have the flex slots to buy a 3.2k item instead of a more expensive 6.4k item.
7Late game
Game stage · 2 items · BUY optionals & §6.4k debuff
Siphon Bullets
When bought at around 20-25k souls, this item will actually feel effective due to characters starting to be at the 2500-3000HP range. Optimally, you want enemies to be at 3k+HP for this item to SHINE.
Headhunter
Built from Headshot Booster
Can be bought earlier to make use of raw trade damage it provides. Real value comes from large % heal that is impactful late game when you are 4000-5000HP.
8HP 6.4ksoptional
Author's category · 3 items · Late Survival / Sustain options
Healing Tempo
Often has more value if you buy this when behind to support other m1s, though you can still retain a fair amount of value from this item due to its abundance of passive stats.
Colossus
Built from Extra Health
Combined with Siphon bullets, and utilizing Ivy's above average health scaling, it gives great health value, and the dash slow on this item is INSANE. Great also if you have x < 15% of both resists.
9Debuffsoptional
Author's category · 3 items · Huge debuffs. Read their individual descriptions.
Inhibitor
VERY good debuff that counts as antiheal and a massive damage reduction. Easy to buildup with your current firerate, and when bought, gives ~350 HP and +10% wpn damage in raw stats (Very Good)
Silencer
While inhibitor is great, this item INSTANTLY applies the damage debuff without needing a buildup. Great for spirit meta. Built-In Silence is also great for countering. Do note this gives no HP.
10Late Extraoptional
Author's category · 2 items
Weakening Headshot
Here for the sake of being an easily accessible component for when you want to buy crippling headshot, and have a slot to spare for it. ONLY BUY IF BUILDING FOR CRIPPLING.
Weighted Shots
Built from Slowing Bullets
Very good upgrade that mainly serves to give you debuff resist that you may otherwise be lacking in the midgame. Damage is great too. Good because other sources of debuff resist are very expensive.
11Late Survivaloptional
Author's category · 5 items · These Health items are good, But very situational. Only buy late.
Healing Booster
Built from Extra Regen
Can potentially be picked up right after midgame to fill slots and build towards healing tempo.
Spellbreaker
Gives all the late game stats you are lacking, and want more of. Provides a layer of protection against spirit nukers, and gives slightly more resistance to what you already have, with debuff resist.
12Spiritoptional
Author's category · 3 items · Not bought often. Read descriptions.
Mystic Slow
With regular slows effecting air dashes as well now, this item can give you a little bit of the best of both worlds, making both movespeed and crazy airdashing harder, get only if you have many slots.
Compress Cooldown
When imbued on ult, and you are carrying people off cooldown, you can be perma rotating around mid-game skirmishes getting major map control and granting you a lead. Good if you have/know u have slots
13BRS Swapsoptional
Author's category · 2 items
Hunter's Aura
A very good replacement for Bullet Resist Shredder, when you are heavily slot locked, but have money to spend. Usually only do this at § 35k+ souls when you are missing slots from walkers.
Hollow Point
A very good replacement for Bullet Resist Shredder, when you are heavily slot locked, but have money to spend. Usually only do this at § 35k+ souls when you are missing slots from walkers.
14TESTING | CAN BE GOOD | FULL IVY GUIDE BELOW - SCROLL DOWNoptional
Author's category · 5 items · These items still can be great. Read their individual descripitions to see if they fit. Message @Highdocker on discord in dms if you have questions. Scroll down below to see a full guide on Ivy.
Debuff Reducer
Only buy if you need to stack significant DBR while being affordable. With Weighted shots and this, you have 40% DBR. Great against characters with ults like Holliday, Mo & Krill, given you have HP.
Fleetfoot
Can be worth your while if you dont buy many other mid/late extras (primarily replacing slowing bullets), allows for magazine uptime on camps and players. Reccomended to have fire rate before using it

18Patch Overview September 2026
Author's category · 0 items · No major balance changes, or even any minor balance changes are added in this update, that we would otherwise see or come to expect from something like a minor update. The biggest change in terms of raw balance that this update has to offer, is a huge rework of the jungle, and corrupted items. Of course, the entire map got completely changed. Sidelines like green and yellow seem to have the same, if not more cover to work around, but the opposite seems to be true for blue. On blue guardians, the space is insanely open, and this holds true for all walkers now. Characters that thrive in open areas will like this update, which does include Ivy, though moreso spirit ivy than gun. As for corrupted items, they change the game completely. At around 30 minutes you can get access to the new shopkeeper, which lets you upgrade any of your §3200/§6400 soul items into their corrupted form. They all have random negative attributes to them, which I have put all the possible values down below this paragraph. Next, a large portion of the item's stats are heavily buffed, though it depends greatly based on the item you are purchasing. The amount the item is buffed by is actually random, so for instance, you can buy Siphon bullets that on average, goes from 2.5->4.0% max hp steal, and in 2 other matches it can go from 2.5->3.8% or 2.5->4.2%. Keep an eye on this next time you play, as the buff amount is also random, so other items may have higher stat rolls. You can buy a second corrupted item at around 45:00 minutes, which is 15:00 minutes after the first instance. Do keep in mind that the spawn timer is slightly random as well, as ive seen instances of the new shopkeeper spawning at both around 29:00 and 31:00 according to various sources, though the consecutive buyable corrupted item will always come 15 minutes after the previous instance. These items drastically change the way late game deadlock is played, and there are many items that are objectively more powerful than other corrupted items. This also seems to be a limited time feature, of which I do not expect to stay in ranked in the future. Regarding how the corrupted items effect Ivy, below this paragraph I will list good negative attribute to pick up, as well as good corrupted item options. Because the negative attributes will be random across games, you will have to build differently across all games now.

19Laning Stage - Overview
Author's category · 0 items · Your laning phase should revolve around this core principle: Your Lane trading and Damage output is low. Your Lane waveclear is very good. You should play around this fact. Do not use kudzus for poke damage, and instead use them to prioritize and clear the wave (Or get T1 camps to prevent the enemy from invading with the downtime that they have). Almost always, you lane partner will have far more poke and damage output ready, and will likely have weaker waveclear than you. Play around your lane partners strengths, where you focus the wave, and your lane partner deals damage. By playing around your strengths in lane, you will have a far better lane experience. You will not have significant lane pressure/damage output until you get your tesla bullets with 4.8k gun investment powerspike. You can also get HSB to apply more lane pressure. Don't forget to get boxes and t1 camps throughout waves, BUT ALWAYS BE SURE TO BE ON THE SAME PAGE AS YOUR LANER! You either both apply pressure, or both get boxes. Doing separate actions is not good.

20Laning Stage - Abilities
Author's category · 0 items · During your laning phase, you will generally first obtain your kudzu bomb/thorns, then your stone form, and then your tether. When you get tether, never use it to trade offensively, save it exclusively for when you kill healer minions, so you can replicate healing with your lane partner. Later in lane, you will play around your stone form T1 and T2 upgrade. When stone form is unupgraded, use it purely as a defensive option. At T1, you can begin to pop it outside of combat for sustain. At T2, you can spam it out of combat for insane sustain. Feel free to use it every time its off cooldown if you don't expect to fight the lane opponents for the next 15 seconds. Can be combined with tether when you grab the healing trooper to also give your lane partner a smidgeon of health alongside the another abundance of healing you are providing. Extra health is a insanely powerful item in lane to stay very sustained, as the T2 stone form AP upgrade rush works very well with it, and makes you a hard target to kill (especially when being dived.)

21Early Game - Powerspike One
Author's category · 0 items · When choosing what items to buy in lane, you want to purchase Capacitor as fast as humanly possible. The sooner you buy it, the more impactful it will be. An optimal build path example in a game may be (Extended Magazine -> Tesla Bullets -> Titanic Magazine -> Capacitor -> Rapid Rounds -> Swift Striker). Though this may be optimal, it is not realistically possible every game, and for that purpose, items like healing rite and extra health help you stay sustained with rapid regeneration, sprint speed for box running, and more max health to increase effectiveness of healer minions and T1 stone form bonus HP% heal. These items will help you stay alive, while safeguarding you from feeding in the lane. It may delay your powerspike, but it will keep you from doing poorly in lane. Once you buy capacitor, you can essentially OUT-DPS anyone for the next 5-7 minutes. This is also because you will get swift striker and T3 tether very shortly after tether, making you farm speed and early damage output absolutely insane.

22Mid Game - What to Do
Author's category · 0 items · Your early game power spike occurs at around 8-11k souls. You will remain insanely strong up until around 18-20k souls, where despite dealing a lot of damage, you will be lacking survivability. Because of this, after you utilize the early game powerspike, you want to use this advantage to constantly steal enemy farm and/or secure your own farm. You will be the fastest t2/t3 camp clearer in the game at this time (only beaten by Venator), so focus on securing camps while leaving sinners for your other teammates who are otherwise inefficient at taking camps, but like taking sinners. Any enemy that will attempt to rival you in a solo lane will likely lose to you, so you will have a lot of control. Despite this, be aware you can very easily instadie if it becomes a 1v2 and someone roams to you in lane. While doing all of this, you will rapidly acquire a large amount of souls that will allow you to reach your second major powerspike: Siphon Bullets. Feel free to buy items before siphon bullets, such as slowing bullets, enduring speed, and definitely bullet resistant shredder.

23Mid Game - Overview
Author's category · 0 items · Your ult is not as impactful as last patch with this build, but you have it almost twice as often. This means the previous rule (ABAD - ALWAYS BE AIRDROPPING) applies even more, where its hard to waste an airdrop ultimate when its on such a low cooldown. Your airdrop will feel insanely impactful after you upgrade it to T3 (after you get T2 stone form and T3 Tether at around 20k+ soul count). With silence, its very easy to hard focus a specific enemy and kill them almost guaranteed, often preventing escape, combined with the ultimate silence, ultimate slow, and both your capacitor active, and you slowing bullets/weighted shots purchase. You will notice with this build that around the midgame, it will be insanely hard for enemies to escape you because you will gradually keep getting more slows (mainly dash slows) which are insanely impactful. Slowing bullets, Capacitor, and Colossus all provide dash slow, and when stacked, it basically makes your targets completely immobile, even with slow resistance. All of this combined makes you effective at assisting in picks for the team

24Mid Game - Powerspike Two
Author's category · 0 items · Your second powerspike begins as SOON as you purchase Siphon Bullets. This is because, already before this point, you will have a consistent and fairly good source of DPS. When you purchase siphon bullets, you fill in the problem of having a small amount of health, instead giving you a big boost in HP due to health investment, and increasing your sustained-DPS based playstyle that makes you win sustained fights far easier by stealing HP from enemies, essentially turning fights from now on against your Ivy Build into a ticking time bomb, where if a fight goes on for longer than 8-10 seconds, then the enemy will likely be completely out of resources and die to you. Very good items that complement this powerspike are headhunter, and toxic bullets, making your sustained pressure over longer fights very effective. Both of these 3200 items scale well into the late game, as does siphon, meaning you will keep getting stronger the further the game goes with these three items. Don't forget to buy spirit resilience!

25Late Game - Overview
Author's category · 0 items · After siphon bullets, you generally are online, and want to play a somewhat slippery/mobile/annoying playstyle where it is hard for enemies to catch you, and playing around that fact. Also, After siphon, you need to keep a close look on what your team needs in terms of debuffs, or what you need in terms of survivability to remain relevant. Inhibitor gives a great survivability bonus with a big spike in health, and massive damage reduction. If you feel tanky enough, silencer is a great alternative. Typically, one of these two items will be bought after siphon. Once you have one of these items, you WILL buy colossus. This item is severely overstatted at the moment, and provides one million stats. Health, Damage, Resistance, Health investment bonus, and a MAJOR dash slow (30%) which is one of the largest and longest sources of dash slow in the game. After colossus, you will likely have ended the game by then, optimally. If the game goes on, continue to purchase Late Game Defensive Optional 6.4k green items to stay alive. Consider replacing BRS/Swift striker with better alternatives.

26Late Game - Powerspike Three
Author's category · 0 items · This powerspike generally occurs after you buy colossus. You can either buy colossus right after you purchase siphon with another 3.2ks (This is an early buy), or you can buy colossus after buying one debuffer 6.4k item, being either inhibitor, silencer, or crippling (This is a later buy). Between these two buy points, you will have around 4000-5000 Max HP, not accounting for the fact that you will gain and heal far more with siphon bullets. This makes you INSANELY difficult to kill, practically making you immortal, unless you get dynamo ulted, mo and krill ulted, holliday lassod, which can be countered by not positioning poorly and/or purchasing unstoppable later. You become a sustained DPS monster that heals, cant die, debuffs, and can act as a frontliner. Continue to use your ivy ultimate, and utilize the fact that you have 5 movement slows and 3 dash slows by this time (move slows: Kudzu, Ult, Slowing bullets, Capacitor, Colossus) dash slows (slowing bullets, colossus, capacitor [capacitor disables stamina]). Your character essentially becomes a being that can do everything in the game.

27Super Ultra Late Game - ( §50k+ Souls)
Author's category · 0 items · If the game somehow gets to this point (often 30-35+ minutes), you will run out of slots. This build is very optimized and slot efficient, but at a certain point your early game items will need to be swapped out. Good choices for swapping out these items include the following: Swift Striker: Burst Fire/Spellslinger/Ricochet. Bullet Resist Shredder: Crippling Headshot. Titanic Magazine (Only replace if you have spellslinger): Transcendent Cooldown/Lucky Shot/Unstoppable

28Build Notes
Author's category · 0 items · The order of all the items in this build all are super important. Generally, The core build path is 100% the way to go, Left -> Right, with an exception to the spirit items. After you buy all the core items, you need to HEAVILY think about itemization based on what the strengths the enemy has, and what weaknesses you can abuse. All annotations are in depth for every late game optional item to help you towards the direction of proper itemization. Additionally, Almost every optional category is organized to where the leftmost items are generally going to mean they are used far more often than the rightmost, with the categories labeled "Laning/Mid/Late Extras" being an exception to this rule. The testing items section also ignores this rule.

30Kudzu Bomb Conservation - Laning
Author's category · 0 items · Start kudzu in lane. Take bridge control with your lane partner ASAP. Lineup a kudzu to throw right as the troopers land. The first time troopers are shot in the head, they stagger and stand still. Use this to keep them in the kudzu. Repeat these lineups for the next wave, and then you will have a kudzu bomb ready to throw right as the third wave spawns, without needing to upgrade to an extra charge. You can also, instead of using it on 3rd wave, use it on the min 2:00 T1 Camp

31Niche Tip 1 - Active Reload
Author's category · 0 items · Often times you get a good opportunity to gank or perform a sneak attack on a side laner, or a unsuspecting opponent. Generally speaking, ivy has relatively quiet footsteps, and can sneak up pretty easily without LOS (line of sight). However, active reload as an item, is INSANELY loud and clear from miles away to the enemy, so be sure to proc it accordingly. Dont proc it way before engaging, which may let the enemy spot you, giving them time to run.

32Niche Tip 2 - Flight Dash Cancel

33Niche Tip 3 - Healing Tempo + Team
Author's category · 0 items · In the late game (~§40k+ souls), When you have purchased healing tempo, and are either doing midboss before enemies have time to arrive, or are sieging/pushing the enemies double base guardians/shrines, press 2 on multiple allies to give MULTIPLE players the healing tempo buff, instead of the automatically selected single person that you will tether to.

34Niche Tip 4 - Thorns go Through Walls
Author's category · 0 items · Kudzu Bomb/Entangling Thorns goes through walls, meaning you can throw it against some camps out of line of sight of the wall to do damage

35Niche Tip 5 - Stone Form Height Cancel
Author's category · 0 items · Stone form instantly makes you float upwards from the position that you cast it. If you land on a object/ terrain higher than the position you started/casted stone form on, you will exit stone form sooner. Sometimes, exiting stone form as soon as possible can be more beneficial than staying in the invulnerability for as long as possible. The reason is, that the longer you stay in stone form, the more time the enemy has to setup and plan how to attack you when you exit it. this can involve having just enough time to use a CC/root/stun ability, or bursting you down with damaging abilities, or giving more time for the enemy to get more teammates to your location to kill you. This is why sometimes when you stone form, look for objects higher than your starting position to stomp on. This is also VERY useful to save time when you are only using stone form to heal, giving you more time to move around and play.

Capacitor
Built from Tesla Bullets
This item is better the earlier you buy it, B/C Capacitor requires FAR LESS ROF to consistently proc than Tesla Bullets. Its active is a great substitute for ivy losing knockup on ultimate.
Sprint Boots
Absolutely one of the best T1 health items in the game. When first bought, gives HP with investment, allows far faster box farming, and better roaming with slight OoC Regeneration. All for § 800 !
Extra Regen
Healbane
If planning to be hyper-active in the early game right after capacitor, this can be a good pickup against early healing characters. Otherwise, get crippling late. (~§35k+ souls)
Active Reload
Given that your character has a short reload time (Ivy does), this item is great, as you will be allowed to easily proc it to gain very high value stats, such as lots of firerate, movespeed, lifesteal
Bullet Resist Shredder
Easy to apply with Tesla/Capacitor, and provides a great Bullet Resist Shred debuff while giving spirit investment, and good base stats.
Enduring Speed
Built from Sprint Boots
Great for stacking your movespeed, after Fleetfoot lost its value with T3 Tether changes. Movespeed resist will come to be useful later in the game as well.
Metal Skin
Insanely Overpowered, but situational. Hard counters Haze/Vyper/Gun Warden, Gun Drifter, and ANY character that has ~X > 75% damage done by pure weapon damage bullets.
Bullet Resilience
BEFORE BUYING, Consider this: If the enemy is doing Weapon Damage by mainly bullets, get metalskin instead. Otherwise, if its from abilities, get this item or Escalating Resilience.
Juggernaut
Built from Enduring Speed
Better with the diminishing movespeed buffs, and direct juggernaut movespeed buffs. Still, this item is optimal if you are using it to counter other m1s.
Crippling Headshot
Deletes victor, and heavily cripples any character that has high resists with high healing/sustain. Long debuff duration and easy proc makes it SUPER useful for your team needing damage.
Indomitable
This item is great against pick characters (Mo Krill, Holliday, Paradox, Bepop, etc.) But not reccomended until §40k+ souls. It doesnt get triggered by knockups/airbornes (except mirage FUCK YOU mirag
Plated Armor
VERY SITUATIONAL. Very good counter against Haze and Infernus. If not enough against on-hit characters, combining this with Dispel Magic practically makes their on-hits completely irrelevant.
Unstoppable
Great when the team is only managing to kill you through CC/Stuns, or curses and countless debuffs of similar sort. Also gives survivability with massive debuff resistance and some HP.
Transcendent Cooldown
Treat this as a § 50k+ Soul Luxury item to let you proc Headhunter, Siphon, and Capacitor faster, alongside giving ability cooldowns. Very high value late game, but useless if you are buying it early.
Toxic Bullets
You will have enough firerate to reproc it even when its debuff removed (At around T3 tether max). This makes it a good antiheal option for mid-late game, and really shines late with high HP pools.
Spellslinger
Spellslinger has been indirectly HEAVILY nerfed from the gun ivy playstyle. Fleetfoot is significantly worse on her, and you cant pop tether anymore. This removes two sources of proccing spellslinger.
Armor Piercer
This should exclusively be used as a § 50k+ soul counter if the enemy has multiple plated armors, or a single high priority target has plated. If bought before 50k souls, it often has reduced value.
