Flexible HMC Ivy build || youtube.com/watch?v=_5wJFfzUhZk || ➤ "Ivy stop spamming heavy hits" ➤ "All that for what Ivy? Holy ass" ➤ "You are playing Ivy. You are worthless. Coward rat"
1Early game
Game stage · 7 items · I like to stagger melee items to mindgame people out of insta-buying rebut
Extra Health
More hp on stone form
Close Quarters
More trooper and enemy damage
Fleetfoot
good early in lane, longer slides for inf ammo to compensate for no extra ammo pickup
2Tough Lane?optional
Author's category · 4 items
Monster Rounds
Can be avoided thanks to Close Quarters doing similar things, but vs Remlings or Graves this is a good investment
Rebuttal
Burgerbox lane. Usually good if they get it but you can avoid it yourself by parrybaiting with Stone Form and HMCs
Extra Regen
3Punchoptional
Author's category · 2 items
Colossus
Built from Extra Health
Rough heavy-melee damage at level 25 (21k) assuming enemy has no resists and you only have core purchased (excluding E.Shard): ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ | 483 HM | 𝟱𝟰𝟳 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗛𝗠 | 570 Ult HM | 𝟲𝟲𝟴 𝗨𝗹𝘁+𝗖𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗠 |
Crushing Fists
Built from Melee Charge
DO NOT RUSH THIS ITEM. While there is value here, its better purchased around the 25k mark as melee Ivy typically isnt doing damage anyway. Use as a late-game stabiliser
4Stone Formoptional
Author's category · 4 items
Superior Duration
If they get debuff reducer this is a *must* for your Stone Form stuns
Echo Shard
HMC with Stone Form > Heavy Melee > Echo Shard > Repeat || The 29/07 nerfs did nothing to this and double stoneforming. Still viable
Greater Expansion
Ballistic Enchantment gives us enough range as is, but if you want range on everything or are doing Vortex Web stuff, this is a nice addition
5Bullet Res Reducersoptional
Author's category · 4 items
Point Blank
Built from Close Quarters
Hunter's Aura
Doesn't stack with other players who may already have this. Look at your teams items before buying (or assume otherwise if you have characters on your team that may get it like Silver)
Bullet Resist Shredder
6Spirit Punchoptional
Author's category · 8 items
Stalker
Bleed and damage reduction. Also gives gun invest for more damage
Mystic Slow
Suppressor
7Situationalsoptional
Author's category · 9 items
Transcendent Cooldown
Built from Superior Cooldown

Web > Ult > Stone Form
Arctic Blast
Fliers or Escapees

Ol' Reliable (but shinier)
11What is an HMC and how do I do one?optional
Author's category · 3 items · HMC stands for Heavy Melee Cancel. HMC is a tech revolving around using certain active-items and abilities to cancel a heavy melee attack. To get an idea of what this looks like buy Fleetfoot and charge up a punch. Let go of the melee key as soon as a heavy melee has been channelled and any time during the swing activate Fleetfoot. If done correctly your character should instantly stop swinging and perform their active item animation, allowing you to instantly heavy melee again or perform other actions. Ivy can also perform an HMC using stone form, simply follow the steps above but replace Fleetfoot with Stone Form and you can replicate the same success. Not every active-item in Deadlock can HMC, only the following items can: 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁, 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁, 𝗙𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝘂𝘀, 𝗨𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 and 𝗩𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘁.For more information I recommend reading this wiki article: 𝗵𝘁𝘁𝗽𝘀://𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸.𝘄𝗶𝗸𝗶/𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆_𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗲/𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆_𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗲_𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹 Additionally, this video by Cyrus on youtube does an excellent job covering the subject for beginners: 𝗵𝘁𝘁𝗽𝘀://𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘂.𝗯𝗲/𝟭𝟬𝗿𝘁𝟲𝗵𝗪𝗳𝟲𝗳𝗬
Mystic Expansion
I hate when builds don't imbue the lower-tier items so this is hidden here for that reason. No need to follow my inbue target if you prefer something else

Melee Lifesteal
Melee Charge
Reactive Barrier
Get earlier in stunlock lanes like vs Bebop, Graves, Billy etc.
Restorative Locket
Get before Fleetfoot if lane is going TERRIBLE and the gun investment isnt as worth as saving your own life
Restorative Shot
This or regen if considering either
Ballistic Enchantment
Stone form/Thorns weakener. Also works with M1 hybrid if you take tesla
Berserker
Healing Booster
Built from Extra Regen
Get with Radiant
Superior Cooldown
More stone forms and Ults
Radiant Regeneration
Saw another melee ivy building this with Healing booster and lowkey could be the move. Gives you a fuck tonne of healing with Healing booster and allows you take on fights you realistically shouldn't
Spirit Snatch
Boundless Spirit
Scourge
Abrams Cosplay
Unstoppable
Turn off brain melee spam option. Get over Reactive Barrier/Indom if desired
Cheat Death
Shadow Weave
Use during ult for jumpscare stoneforms. Duration investment for max value. They can see who you're carrying and/or the bomb so make sure to dispose of that before attempting assassination
Tankbuster
Nukage Stoneforms and Ults, could be the move for a more spirit leaning game
Arcane Surge
Use before ult or stoneform for value. Kinda niche but can work to make the melee build a spirit hybrid one
Decay
this and/or mystic vuln
Knockdown
Cursed Relic
Will reduce your damage output. I'd recommend S.Wave, D.Hex or Knockdown over this unless absolutely necessary
Metal Skin
vs. M1 teams
Indomitable
Built from Reactive Barrier
Anti-Parry! No need to rush this item, R.barrier with our sustain will save you unless you're taking bad fights. Unstoppable is genuinely a decent alternative for midboss contests and heavy melee spam
Juggernaut
Built from Enduring Speed
E.Speed upgrade, good if rich or vs 6 m1 characters
Trophy Collector
Good if your team is
Counterspell
Fortitude
Built from Extra Health
Stamina Mastery
Diviner's Kevlar
Makes your allies stronger out of your ult. Can be good in spirit-hybrid games
Phantom Strike
vs. M1 teams who keep distance (we fucking HATE that barefoot ghost freak)
Weapon Shielding
Veil Walker
You can trigger this while ulting. Genuinely could be good for like jumpscare stoneform
Lifestrike
Built from Melee Lifesteal
Lowkey not worth it a lot of the time. Takes ages to scale and there are better T3 greens. Buy only when slotlocked/rich
Healing Tempo
Built from Healing Booster
Support Hybrid. Nova recommended purchase as well, but can just get this and lean into M1/support hybrid
Spellbreaker
vs spirit nuke
Plated Armor
vs. on-hit
Swift Striker
Active Reload
Slowing Bullets
Siphon Bullets
Headhunter
Probably my first pick if I'm taking any of these at all
Silencer
Weighted Shots
Built from Slowing Bullets
Hollow Point
Duration Extender
