BACK FROM THE DEAD PT 2 God bless you Yoshi for making Stake not a completely dead ability to scale ; w ; Ult stacking weapon damage is really strong, but not required for Vindicta to function. Lets you pivot late game to melt people if you have the stacks. Now with Tankbuster on Stake!
1A Ghost's Gourmet Grill
Author's category · 6 items · Vindicta can uniquely scale and play the game off of using Trophy Collector and high base damage abilities and cheap scaling items. She's probably the best suited for grabbing Trophy because her base kit is so good. We use T2 stake w/ burst and HSB to have plenty of early game damage. Try and get your guardian early.
Headshot Booster
Lane pressure. Way more uptime than Burst early, so get it first. Usually the first item you sell as well.
Mystic Burst
Procs on Stake with the T1 point. With that and HSB you have 200 damage on demand really early, which can win a lane on it's own. Keep up the pressure.
Trophy Collector
Games go really long. You want to be fighting anyways since snipe is very strong until around 20 minutes. You pretty much will always get value out of this right now.
2carpet.
Author's category · 1 items · I really like this item; map rotations, escape, really good stats, wheee low gravity. Fun.
Magic Carpet
no this is not optional (you can skip it for later if you need to but this is usually when I'd get it)
34800 Vitalityoptional
Author's category · 0 items
No items listed.
4Lunch Service
Author's category · 5 items · Time to get the grill hot. We hit our investments, and now just need to get the grill roaring hot. If you decide to skip carpet, just grab enduring and healbane somewhere after Alchemical Fire.
Alchemical Fire
The namesake item; the Grill. This is your damage for your Stakes, alongside applying debuffs constantly. Helpful for farming too; throw it on a camp and gun it down in between fights/objectives.
Mystic Expansion
Range is no longer bad on Stake. This is cheap; put this on to make your stakes more obnoxious. 6400 Spirit as well (and it's cheap).
5Customer Serviceoptional
Author's category · 5 items · Some lanes can't be autopiloted. These are for particularly difficult customers.
Monster Rounds
Anti Rem/Sinclair/McGinnis item. When you need the wave to die ASAP and your laner can't do it alone.
Enduring Speed
This is generally better than any shielding/barrier on Vin. You want to AVOID, not MITIGATE. For heavy slows early.
Healbane
6Dinner Service
Author's category · 4 items · While burgers are delicious, Vindicta is excellent at cooking stakes. These boost her skills.
Superior Cooldown
Builds into Trans Cooldown. More Crows, more Snipes.
Transcendent Cooldown
Built from Superior Cooldown
33% more grilling! Late game you'll want this for more Stake combos and Divine Barriers.
Superior Duration
7Fine Diningoptional
Author's category · 3 items · Wealthy late game upgrades for 30+ mins
Vortex Web
Built from Slowing Hex
This is a funny item for having a THIRD stake late game. If your stakes are winning fights alone, why not add another.
Ballistic Enchantment
Built from Mystic Expansion
Even MORE range for your stake. Even MORE annoying for the enemy team.
8SECURITYoptional
Author's category · 4 items · Sometimes a customer simply needs to be thrown out. By armed guards.
Suppressor
Anti-many M1s. Not needed much with T1 Stake, but still helpful if you're being shredded.
Mystic Vulnerability
Cheap spirit resist shred
Crippling Headshot
Late game, your team will generally always need one of these. Ideally someone else gets it, but you can use it well too.
9FUN counter itemsoptional
Author's category · 5 items
Counterspell
Anti-Lash technology. Sometimes required.
Rescue Beam
Sometimes you just need to medevac a teammate out of a key CC ultimate to win the game. Pretty funny w/ Flight's range bonus.
Cheat Death
Break in case of Yamato, really. Or a fed Calico. Sometimes you just need this.
10i wanna fly moreoptional
Author's category · 2 items
Majestic Leap
Can replace Magic Carpet if you're bored. It's fun, not better than carpet atp I think
Stamina Mastery
Buy with Carpet, kinda feels necessary to have both.
11oh i have STACKSoptional
Author's category · 4 items
Unstoppable
Non-negotiable if you're going gun. If you think you can always Counterspell Phantom Strike, you cant.
Titanic Magazine
Read Slinger ->
Spellslinger
This and Tit Mag are all you need to dump gun damage if you have a lot of stacks. Max Ult if you have at least 8, I usually wait for 10 stacks.

Extra Charge
Playing with only 2 charges feels really awkward, so get this before Trophy. If you don't need it greed for TC early
Rapid Recharge
Built from Extra Charge
More snipes, snipes on quicker demand, and 4800 Spirit
Slowing Hex
Slowing Hex is a 1600 item that Silences a target's movement-based items and abilities for 3.5s. This kills many heroes. Just buy it.
Echo Shard
Now we're cooking. This lets you hold people down for the whole duration of the Grill. Cooks them medium rare and helps your team delete them.
Duration Extender
You have T3 Stake and Echo Shard; make your cc last longer.
Tankbuster
Built from Mystic Burst
You need 120 Spirit to proc Tankbuster on Stake w/ T1 talent. If you have Carpet, you should have that mark; otherwise, you might need to go get Improved Spirit. REALLY good, try to use for Stake!
Some lanes it's just your job to get healbane - Victor, Mo, and Rem are examples of difficult customers you need this for. Get T2 crow if you buy this.
Rusted Barrel
Makes Infernus and Celeste really, really sad.
Disarming Hex
Built from Rusted Barrel
Some games this is like, really really good. Like insanely good. I don't get it often though.
Built from Duration Extender
Longer Alchemical Fire, Crow Familiar, and any debuffs you might have grabbed.
Greater Expansion
Built from Mystic Expansion
Cheaper/more slot efficient Ballistic. More range for being more annoying.
Boundless Spirit
Catch all damage upgrade. All your damage is spirit, so yeah why not really.
Lightning Scroll
This is a knockdown with gumption. Really good for CCing someone to death, some games wasting snipe for 4 stuns on the same person is the best play (and really funny)
Divine Barrier
By this point, the enemy team hates you. You'll get knockdowned, slowed, CC'd, etc. This is your get out of jail card for that, but also a very good support item.
Knockdown
Anti Ult Ginnis item. Sometimes you need it, because nobody else will buy it, and they will complain about Ginnis ult as if this doesn't exist.
Sharpshooter
Generally you will always want more falloff distance if you're going gun. Also, velocity is extremely helpful on Vindicta.
