   Author's category · 5 items · Venom+Bola combo is what makes you scary in lane. Both have really high spirit scaling, so we build spirit. Poke with Dagger and dive low HP enemies.

2. 2Lane 4.8k Spike (choose)

   Author's category · 6 items · For 800 damage Venom+Bola. Can oneshot most characters at 70% HP. One t2 or two t1s. Can sell these after you buy Magnum to open slots. Really optional, but highly recommended if you stomped lane and are looking to gank.

      You're able to shoot a lot. Tesla procs this so it's doubly great for jungling.

      You prefer diving in and bursting people down.

      Default lane green. Buy before Extra Spirit if you took a bad early trade.

      I don't like this item because I like to poke, but get it if you're used to having it.

      Builds into barrier. Barriers are very strong right now.

4. 4Midgame gunmaxxing

   Author's category · 4 items · You don't need any more spirit items, your venom+bola combo will rapidly get weaker as the game goes on. You won't need more gun items than these three for a while once you get them.

      Built from Close Quarters

      You should always be fighting close range. Massive damage steroid. The slow also helps you land your shots. 30% melee resist protects you from that annoying goat.

      Burst Fire

      Built from Rapid Rounds

      MANDATORY Slide buff. Can buy early if you'd rather fight heroes than farm jungle. I prefer jungling after lane which is why I buy this third.

5. 511.2k Spike

   Author's category · 8 items · Read annotations. Since 9.6k spike was removed, should instead buy one of these t2s to get to 11.2k spike.

      Comfortable jungle farming. Also nice vs Rem, Dynamo, and other chars with displacement abilities.

      Opening Rounds

      No longer as good as it once was, as spirit was nerfed from 10 to 7, and damage was nerfed from 45% to 25%. Bullet velocity is ok, ig.

      Built from Grit

      Enemy has a LOT of CC. Scales with spirit so this can last you to lategame. Instant 800 barrier is nothing to scoff at. Builds into indomitable.

   Author's category · 5 items · Now that we can slide, it's time to stack fire rate. Fire rate is the most important stat to boost Magnum's damage output.

      Built from Quicksilver Reload

      Do NOT rush. This item scales with *base* bullet damage, spirit, and fire rate. Buy when you're at least 24+ boons. Left hand of Exodia.

      Vampiric Burst

      Built from Bullet Lifesteal

      +34% fire rate is extremely gooder. Also 9.6k green spike, and big heals.

8. 8Ultra-late

   Author's category · 4 items · If somehow the game goes on for longer than 35 mins, these are for you. Game usually ends before you get to buy any of these, but they cap out your damage to the extreme.

      Boundless Spirit

      Built from Improved Spirit

      Spirit steroid. If you're a psychopath who gets a lot of opportunities to assasinate in midgame, you can get this earlier. Right Leg of Exodia.

      Lucky Shot

      Massive gun amp, as the lucky shots are multiplicative. Buy after you have at least +100% conditional fire rate. Buy before Spellslinger if enemy has no Metal Skin.

   Author's category · 8 items · Annotated. If it's extreme super late game, you can sell Tesla if you have more than +150% fire rate, so you have space for more t4s.

      Alternative to Point Blank. Highly recommended you get Kinetic Dash or Stamina Mastery.
